It became apparent to Barry that there was a great demand for a cabinetmakers workshop that could produce high quality, faithful copies of original pieces that were either becoming very difficult to find or extremely expensive to buy. In the 1990's he launched The Ashfield House Collection, a range of solid mahogany handmade furniture, where the emphasis is very much on quality and finish.
Each piece is handmade to order in England by a team of highly skilled and dedicated craftsmen who create furniture of unparalleled quality, maintaining impeccable standards throughout and using only the finest materials available. A close scrutiny of their furniture will reveal the painstaking attention to design and detail. Each piece of furniture is sympathetically aged and distressed and then hand polished to a convincing antique finish that will not fail to impress the most discerning of buyers. |
